Alaskan Sweeps Bakersfield Monday, September 23rd , 2052 The Alaskan Humpbacks made it look easy today as they collected the 6th PL AAA Championship championship in club history. They swept the Bakersfield Nobles in straight games, winning the series 2-0. The Humpbacks disposed of Bakersfield 8-4 in the series finale at Jerome Grounds. "They were the better team this year, no doubt about it," said Nobles manager Jesús Román. During the regular season, Alaskan put up a 62-41 record and finished second in the Premier AAA.
