Playoff Bound: Alaskan Secures Wild Card Friday, September 20th , 2052 The Alaskan Humpbacks may not go on to win a PL AAA Championship, but the team celebrated like they had won a championship tonight after securing a wild card spot. "We were definitely feeling the pressure. To go so late into the season and not know whether you're going to make the playoffs or not, it's intense. That's why you're seeing such an excited reaction," said reliever Gary Podell. "All our guys I think are just relieved that we made it after all that." It did indeed take a tough battle and with their record at 62-41, the Humpbacks will now look to bring the 6th PL AAA Championship championship to Alaskan. |
