Alicea Bags PAAA Best Player Award Monday, July 22nd , 2052 Gustavo Alicea demonstrated his potential to be a star in the game last week and today he took home the USPL Triple A Player of the Week Award. The Sunset District first baseman wreaked havoc on opposing pitchers last week, pounding them for a .500 average (8-for-16) with 2 home runs and 6 RBIs on his way to claiming the honor. This year Alicea has hit at a .306 clip with 48 hits, 6 home runs, 28 RBIs and 24 runs scored. |
