PAAA Awards Player of the Week Trophy Monday, June 10th , 2052 Ernesto Valenzuela is respected by most Norfolk Pajaritos fans for his no-frills style of play. The 29-year-old second baseman went about his business with vigor last week to grab the USPL Triple A Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .429 average (12-for-28) with 2 home runs, 8 RBIs and 6 runs scored. So far on the season Valenzuela is hitting .331 with 3 home runs, 15 RBIs and 17 runs scored. He has 39 hits and played in 32 games. |
