His award-winning season saw the bullpen ace get 8 saves in 28 relief appearances, 70 strikeouts in 60.1 innings and only 21 walks. He had a record of 6 wins and 2 losses to go with his 1.04 ERA. "I hope I can pitch like this every year," he said. He received 11 first place votes out of a possible 12.
