Fighting Dachshunds Canó Out Rest Of Season
Saturday, July 20th , 2052
When Ellenburg starting pitcher Thomas Canó was taken out of the game, the crowd at the Fighting Dachshunds-ParksNRec game went silent as they could tell that it was a serious injury. That was confirmed today by doctors when they revealed that Canó had sustained a torn flexor tendon in his elbow and will be out for about 8 months.
So far in 14 appearances this season, Canó has recorded 2 wins and sustained 5 losses. He has pitched 83 innings, yielded 77 hits, fanned 74 and has a 4.12 ERA.
