June's Premier Batter Announced Monday, July 1st , 2052 For a rookie just breaking in, Maikel de Braber certainly put together a successful month. It was good enough to win the 3AAA Batter of the Month award for June. The 23-year-old first baseman for the Port Huron Blitzkrieg hit .372 with 4 home runs, 22 RBIs and 13 runs scored. This year de Braber is hitting .323, produced 33 RBIs and 7 home runs, scored 22 times and gotten on base at a .406 rate. |
