Jackson Captures 2052 Newcomer of the Year Award Monday, November 4th , 2052 All the votes are in for the Menard's Third League Newcomer of the Year Award. The honor for 2052 has been presented to Wayne Jackson, left fielder for the Grey Wolves. He fashioned a .302 batting average, piling up 77 hits in 255 at-bats, 27 home runs, 45 walks, 65 RBIs and a .419 OBP. Ozzie Canales-Lister of the St. Louis Coeur finished second in voting, while Luzvimindo Layug of the Vancouver Grey Wolves finished third. |
