Top 3L Reliever Honored
Monday, November 4th , 2052
The Reliever of the Year Award goes to the Menard's Third League reliever who put forward the strongest season.
This season, that player was George King of the Santa Catalina Condor, who was above all his peers in 2052.
"I just feel like the ball was doing what I wanted it to this year and I was in command most nights out there," he said. "Some days you don't have your best stuff, but I didn't have too many of those days this year."
On the season, King pitched 46.2 innings, with 69 strikeouts and an ERA of 1.35. He also had 28 saves in 41 relief appearances.
Claude Richardson of the Northern Virginia Rainbow Mermaids finished second in voting, while Marvello Manalo of the D.C. Divided finished third.
