Big Day with Bat: Fulton 5-for-5
Saturday, September 14th , 2052
All game long, Buckhead's Tony Fulton was rattling the walls at 5 Paces Park and banging out base hits against the D.C. Divided. When the dust finally settled on the diamond, he had a 5-hit day and the Bowties had a 11-4 victory.
Speaking with reporters after his standout performance, the 27-year-old right fielder said, "Get 5 hits, win a ballgame, it's nice. I could get used to this."
Tony Fulton hit a two-run home run off Stanford Thompson in the 1st, doubled in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th and singled in the 8th.
Batting .290 to date, Fulton has 11 home runs and 39 RBIs.
