Condor Greg Hicks Down and Out for Year Monday, August 19th , 2052 A blow for Greg Hicks today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 13-14 months with a ruptured ulnar collateral ligament. Hicks suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the Santa Catalina Condor are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Hicks's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. So far this season Hicks has picked up no saves in 28 relief appearances. He has also compiled a 4-1 won-lost mark with a 2.73 ERA and fanned 62 batters in 59.1 innings. |
