SL #1 Newcomer Named Monday, November 4th , 2052 A fine inaugural season has paid off handsomely for Jesús Serrano of the Long Island Lighthouse. The 22-year-old topped off his debut year with the 2052 United States Silver League Newcomer of the Year Award. The Lighthouse first baseman took the trophy by hitting .264 in 108 games and finished with 111 hits, 11 home runs, 47 RBIs and 40 runs scored. Louis Bletsoe of the Ft. Worth Cattlemen finished second in voting, while Kyle Chambers of the Hollywood Shredders finished third. |
