Shredders Marino and Hurricanes Carlson Suspended for Fight Wednesday, September 4th , 2052 If there wasn't a history between Tony Marino of Hollywood and Steven Carlson of Cape Coral, then there is one now. The incident between the two sparked a bench-clearing scrum with those two being the center of attention. Now they will miss 4 and 8 games respectively as a result of their actions. The league office announced their suspensions today. "We're both really competitive," Marino said later, "and sometimes things go a little too far because of it." So far this season Marino is batting .289 with 16 home runs. This season Carlson has compiled a 5-5 mark with a 3.16 ERA. |
