Lujino Brilliant -- Fires No-Hitter Friday, August 30th , 2052 Long Island is abuzz in the wake of a masterful no-hitter by Fernando Lujino. The 31-year-old hurler was dominating against the Ft. Worth Cattlemen, leading the Lighthouse to a 4-0 win at The Lighthouse today. "I could tell early on that it was going to be a long day for us," Ft. Worth manager Scott Thompson said afterward. "He made us look real bad. He was that good. And still going strong at the end of the game." Lujino had 7 strikeouts and gave up 2 walks en route to the no-hitter. "Yeah, this was a special day for me," Lujino said. "I had my good stuff and good movement. Good location, too. Even when I made a mistake, I got away with it today."
