Bustamante Sizzles with 20-Game Batting Streak Sunday, June 30th , 2052 Hollywood first baseman Miguel Bustamante keeps on racking up hits every time he plays. His hitting streak now stands at 20 games after collecting 2 hits at LA Forum today. The Shredders took the 5-4 victory over the Echo Park Lakers. "I have been seeing the ball really good the last few weeks, but I am a bit surprised how things are working out," Bustamante said. "I've gotten a couple flares to drop in, so I've also been a little lucky." Miguel Bustamante doubled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th, struck out in the 7th and flied out in the 9th. So far this season Bustamante has put up a .358 batting average with 67 hits, 10 home runs and 40 RBIs. |
