Monroeville Out of Playoff Race Friday, September 1st , 2051 It wasn't meant to be for the Monroeville Yinzers this year. Despite a tough battle, they were eliminated from playoff contention today. "It is a bad feeling," said Yinzers center fielder Patrick Beck. "Once you get into the playoffs, anything can happen. But you've gotta get in there first, and we weren't able to do that." The Yinzers are still searching for their first playoff appearance.
