Player of the Week Trophy to Benítez Monday, August 19th , 2052 Juan Benítez is respected by most Delmarva Gallos fans for his no-frills style of play. The 23-year-old center fielder went about his business with vigor last week to grab the USPL Single A Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .444 average (8-for-18) with 1 home run, 5 RBIs and 5 runs scored. Thus far in 2052 Benítez is hitting .253 with 11 home runs, 42 RBIs, 33 runs scored and has compiled a .336 OBP. |
