Kingston Held Hitless by Payne Wednesday, May 8th , 2052 Matlacha Manatees starter Brian Payne was unhittable today at Fuller Park. Payne beat the Kingston Mangos 2-0, breezing through the Mangos lineup en route to a no-hitter. "I thought Brian started off a little slow and was struggling with his command at first," Manatees manager José Gato said later. "He lucked his way through the early innings, and they helped him out by not being patient. Eventually, it all came together for him, and from there on the Mangos never had a chance.
