Week's Outstanding Performer Announced Monday, July 1st , 2052 Put-In-Bay starting pitcher, Trevor Covenay breezed through the M3L Single A batters last week and today was voted its outstanding player. He led the league with 2 wins awarded the 3A Player of the Week trophy. For the week the Commodores hurler compiled a fine 2-0 won-lost record, surrendered 7 hits and fanned 25 in 14.2 innings and put up an impressive 1.23 ERA. This year Covenay has compiled a 5-1 mark with a 1.96 ERA in 11 starts. |
