3A Honors Chicago First Baseman Monday, June 17th , 2052 Speak softly and carry a big stick and you could win the M3L Single A Player of the Week Award just like Rodrigo Salazar. He really dazzled on the diamond this week with a .455 average to take home the trophy. The Chicago first baseman went 5-for-11, drove in 8 runs, scored 2 times and hit 2 home runs. This year Salazar is hitting .355, produced 10 RBIs and 2 home runs, scored 4 times and gotten on base at a .364 rate. |
