PL Gives Outstanding Pitcher Award Monday, November 4th , 2052 The Athletic Club KC have a rising superstar or maybe even a budding Hall-of-Famer in the making. It's Lúcio Colón, this year's United States Premier League Gold Ball selection. This blossoming hurler wowed fans, peers and sportswriters with a fabulous performance. Colón compiled a 10-3 record in 22 starts, tallied 151 strikeouts in 135.1 innings and recorded a 2.19 ERA. Other clubs managed only a .198 batting average against him. Iiri Lahti of the Boston Patriots finished second in voting, while Noud Taaij of the Mississippi Mockingbirds finished third. |
