Year Ends for Vasan Parthiban in Athletic Club KC Tuesday, September 3rd , 2052 Athletic Club KC first baseman Vasan Parthiban could miss the remainder of the season because of knee tendinitis. He exited yesterday's Greenville game after injuring himself while running the bases. The original diagnosis said Parthiban would be out 5-6 weeks. Later on his doctors said he could be out even longer. "He's done," his manager commented at the BNN press conference. "It's a season-ending injury, but it could have been worse. It's not the worst-case scenario, so we're happy about that." For the year Parthiban has hit at a .299 clip with 35 RBIs, 7 home runs and 38 runs scored. |
