The Hollywood Shredders racked up a win at The Hollywood Bowl, bumping off the Long Island Lighthouse, 4-3. Stewart Telfer, who started for Hollywood, pitched effectively for his team. With the win, the Shredders improved to 58-33.

John Yossarian chipped in for Hollywood, stroking a crucial run-scoring single in the bottom of the seventh inning. For the game, the right fielder went 2-4 with 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs.

"There's never a lack of effort in our clubhouse. We're willing to do the little things to get the win," Yossarian told the Hollywood Citizen.
