Montana Hot Streak Continues with 3-2 Win
Luke Corner could take little solace in pitching a good game. The fact is his Ft. Worth Cattlemen lost, dropping a 3-2 decision to the Montana Pandas at Panda Park. The Pandas, at 57-26, have now won 9 straight.

Had Jeirgif Shkurin not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and a runner on 2nd, Shkurin hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 3-2, in favor of the Pandas.

"There are no moral victories," said losing manager Scott Thompson.
