In an impressive outing, Stewart Telfer whitewashed the Las Vegas Flamingos 6-0.

"I'm getting a lot more downward movement instead of side to side. That side-to-side stuff can get hit a long way," said Telfer, who is throwing with more of an overhand motion.

"It's not rocket science. It was just a little adjustment, but that's all it took."

The Hollywood hurler held Las Vegas scoreless, allowed 7 hits, chalked up 7 strikeouts and yielded no walks.

To date Telfer is 6-1 in 12 starts with a 3.01 ERA and has 69 strikeouts in 89.2 innings.
