Keetley Blasts Grey Wolves, Voodoo Take Game 4, 7-5
|
The New Orleans Voodoo defeated the Vancouver Grey Wolves, 7-5 in Game 4 of the Tournament of Champions today. Making an impact was first baseman Glen Keetley, who was 2-4 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. The win moves New Orleans into a 2-2 tie with Vancouver in the series.
The Voodoo took a 5-0 lead in the top of the second inning. Facing Vancouver hurler Ernie Jones with one out, Keetley hit a grand slam home run.
"We're one game closer to our goal," New Orleans manager Chase Sims said later. "It isn't any more complicated than that."
Game 5 is scheduled for Sunday at The Voodoo Lounge in New Orleans.
