Vega Blasts Trash Pandas, Puffer Fish Take Game 2, 6-4
|
The SL R Championship is tied at 1 games apiece, thanks to a dramatic walk-off victory at Plattsburgh Park today for the Plattsburgh Puffer Fish.
21-year-old right fielder Jesús Vega was the star for Plattsburgh, as he was 2-2 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once in the Plattsburgh Park contest. The 6-4 Plattsburgh triumph allowed the team to even the best-of-3 series with the Watford City Trash Pandas at 1-1.
In the bottom of the ninth, with the score tied, Vega hammered a 2-run home run to win it for Plattsburgh.
"I just tried to make good contact," said Vega.
The next game is set to be played for Thursday, September 12th , 2052 at Trash Panda Field in Watford City.
