Pandas Best Shredders in Pitching Duel

MSL Hollywood Ballpark hosted a real pitchers' duel.
The MSL Montana Pandas managed to get by the MSL Hollywood Shredders, 2-1, at MSL Hollywood Ballpark. MSL Montana pitcher Jorge Ortega set himself apart with his performance. Ortega went 6.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 3 hits, walked 1, and struck out 4. His record improves to 3-5. Picking up the save was Riley Stobert, his 2nd.
Vicente Mejía, the 18-year old catcher , had a direct impact on the outcome. Mejía contributed a solo home run in the top of the fourth inning to put MSL Montana up, 2-0.
"The hot tub feels extra good after a solid win," said Mejía.
The victory gives MSL Montana a record of 19-15.
