MSL Hollywood Topples MSL Long Island, 4-1
|
Tom Ward never let MSL Long Island get something going. The MSL Hollywood left-hander commanded his fastball in pitching the Shredders to a 4-1 win. Ward got the win, improving to 4-3. He allowed 3 hits and walked 1 over 5.1 innings. Ward allowed no runs. The 7th-place Shredders are 11-14.
The two teams provided some entertaining baseball for the MSL Hollywood Ballpark crowd. Regardless of the outcome, a good time was had by all.
"We did a lot of things right," said Ward.
