Flamingos CF Pegrum goes 3-for-4 in Win
|
The performance of Max Pegrum proved critical in helping MSL Las Vegas beat MSL Montana, 6-3. The Flamingos center fielder went 3-4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. Zi-xing Bing, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 1st save. MSL Las Vegas has an impressive 13-6 record.
With MSL Las Vegas leading 3-0 in the bottom of the fifth, Pegrum hit a fastball from Ognjeslav Dobrica for a 3-run home run. It was his 5th home run of the season and put the Flamingos ahead, 6-0.
"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Pegrum.
