Shredders Beat Flamingos, 2-1

Fans saw a dandy of a game between the MSL Hollywood Shredders and MSL Las Vegas Flamingos.
Jin-hoi Na could take little solace in pitching a good game. The fact is his MSL Las Vegas Flamingos lost, dropping a 2-1 decision to the MSL Hollywood Shredders at MSL Hollywood Ballpark. Picking up the save was Rizal Culata, his 5th.
The Shredders got an important contribution from first baseman David Lakerveld, who in the bottom of the sixth hit a 0-1 curveball into left for a solo home run. It was his 4th home run of the season and put the Shredders ahead, 2-1.
"I tell our guys all the time, 'Every pitch is the right pitch if you put it in the right place, you believe in it and have conviction,'" MSL Hollywood manager Andrés Pérez said.
With this game in the books, MSL Hollywood is 7-10, MSL Las Vegas 11-6.
