Grey Wolves Walk It Off for 9th Win of Season

The MSL Vancouver Grey Wolves had to overcome a fine performance from MSL Buckhead pitcher Júlio Pérez to grab a 2-1 win at MSL Vancouver Ballpark. Pérez allowed 1 run over 7.1 innings. The win belongs to Garland Koch in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Carlos Orozco took the loss for MSL Buckhead. After today's action, MSL Vancouver sits at 9-5; MSL Buckhead slips to 8-6.
In the bottom of the second, MSL Vancouver designated hitter Jong-pil Kan had a big at-bat. With one out and the bases empty, he hit a solo home run. For the game, Kan went 2 for 4 with a home run. He scored 2 runs.
Kan said the team appreciates the support from the fans. "I'm glad we could reward them with a good win," he said after the game.
