Flamingos Snag 3-1 Win
|
The MSL Panama City Piranhas got a superb performance from pitcher Sacha Fortunov. Still, it wasn't enough to beat MSL Las Vegas. The Flamingos won the game, 3-1. Fortunov threw 6.1 innings of 3-hit ball. Justin Profit locked down his 2nd save. MSL Panama City falls to 6-3.
MSL Las Vegas used the timely hitting of Huanu Kapalaoa to seize the win. The shortstop stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Flamingos on top, 2-1. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"Every win gets us closer to our ultimate goal," said Kapalaoa.
