García Delivers 4-1 Win
|
MSL Athletic Club KC U-18 starter Ramiro García pitched a strong game against the MSL San Mateo Dirty Reds at MSL ACKC Ballpark, leading the U-18 to victory, 4-1. Kasper Berg collected his 2nd save. MSL San Mateo is still trying to get off the schneid, having lost 6 in a row.
The standout performance belonged to 16-year-old García. With his baby face, he looked more like someone starting for a high school team than for the U-18. His performance, however, was nothing short of top-notch. The youngster dominated the Dirty Reds, striking out 8 and scattering 2 hits over 8.2 innings. García is now 9-3 on the season.
"Slowly but surely, the wins are piling up," said García.
