Voodoo Bats Go Cold Against U-18
|
The MSL Athletic Club KC U-18 went home winners at MSL ACKC Ballpark, thanks in large part to starter Ramiro García. García stifled the MSL New Orleans Voodoo, enabling MSL Athletic Club KC to grab the 6-0 win. MSL Athletic Club KC is now 22-23, while MSL New Orleans is 27-18.
García made it look effortless. He scattered 3 hits over 7 innings, while racking up 10 strikeouts. The MSL Athletic Club KC left-hander encountered little resistance from the MSL New Orleans hitters. His season record is now 8-3.
"Ramiro just went about his business, throwing strikes," said MSL Athletic Club KC manager Gil Schmidt.
