Oliveira Leads Kingfishers to 5-2 Win Over Dirty Reds
The exploits of designated hitter Luis Oliveira helped the MSL Pittsburgh Kingfishers defeat the MSL San Mateo Dirty Reds, 5-2. Oliveira went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once. Oliver Reynolds, the winning pitcher, improved to 5-3. He pitched 7.2 innings, giving up 3 hits and 2 runs, while striking out 6 and walking 2. The Kingfishers saw their win-loss record go to 25-18. At the same time, the Dirty Reds fell to 18-25.
