Benefiting from Mitsuoki Tashima's productive game, the MSL Athletic Club KC U-18 downed the MSL Greenville 84s, 8-2. Tashima went 3 for 5 with 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice for the U-18. The winner was Allberto Lomelino in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Yong-chan Kim took the loss. The save was credited to Ching-wei Ouyang, his 1st.

MSL Athletic Club KC used the timely hitting of Mototsune Kamimura to seize the win. The catcher stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the U-18 on top, 4-2. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"Getting a lot of baserunners and getting some timely hits, it's a good combination," said Tashima.

MSL Athletic Club KC has a record of 15-21, placing them last in the PL MSL.
