U-18 Deal White Walkers 4-2 Setback
|
The exploits of right fielder Rhys Jeffes, who is tied for 8th in the PMSL in runs scored with 16, helped the MSL Athletic Club KC U-18 defeat the MSL Buffalo White Walkers, 4-2. Jeffes went 2 for 3 with 2 home runs. Ernesto Bernal was credited with the save for MSL Athletic Club KC, his 4th of the season. At 13-19, the U-18 claim last place in the PL MSL.
Ni Xú had a critical at-bat with two out in the bottom of the sixth for MSL Athletic Club KC. He came through with a run-scoring single to put MSL Athletic Club KC in front, 4-2.
"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Jeffes.
