Patriots Fall to .500 After 6-2 Loss to Voodoo
|
The MSL New Orleans Voodoo defeated the MSL Boston Patriots, 6-2, in USPL Mexican Summer League action at MSL New Orleans Ballpark. MSL New Orleans pitcher Bertil Aerts had a standout performance. Aerts got the win, improving to 1-0. He allowed 3 hits and walked 1 over 5 innings. Aerts allowed no runs. MSL New Orleans is now 18-12.
With MSL New Orleans leading 4-2 in the bottom of the fourth, Steve Holmes hit a 2-run single off MSL Boston pitcher Joe Harding. It put the Voodoo ahead 6-2.
"This is a great group to be a part of, and it's a big win for us," Aerts told the MSL New Orleans Gazette.
