White Walkers Win, 5-3, at MSL Mississippi

MSL Buffalo and MSL Mississippi duked it out and the White Walkers came out victorious.
The MSL Buffalo White Walkers defeated the MSL Mississippi Mockingbirds, 5-3, in USPL Mexican Summer League action at MSL Mississippi Ballpark. MSL Buffalo pitcher José Carmona had a standout performance. The 7th-place White Walkers lifted their record to 7-9.
MSL Buffalo used the bat of Júlio García to capture the win. The designated hitter jacked a 2-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the White Walkers ahead, 3-1. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a dandy.
"José was throwing free and easy," said MSL Buffalo manager Kevin Montgomery.
