Bullets Deal Kingfishers 5-2 Defeat
|
The MSL Baltimore Bullets topped the MSL Pittsburgh Kingfishers, 5-2, in USPL Mexican Summer League action at MSL Pittsburgh Ballpark. The standout performance belonged to MSL Baltimore pitcher and Ahmadabad, India, native Prem Chaudhry. Chaudhry got the win, improving to 2-1. He allowed 7 hits and walked 0 over 6 innings. Chaudhry allowed 2 runs. MSL Pittsburgh now is 5-4.
MSL Baltimore needed the clutch hitting of Martinho Vido to notch the win. The center fielder hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Bullets on top, 5-2. For the game, Vido had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
"We cashed in when we had the chance," said MSL Baltimore manager Jonah Moody.
