MSL San Mateo designated hitter Alfredo Gómez was sensational. He went 2 for 4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice, but it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. MSL Buffalo beat the Dirty Reds, 7-6. Aad Wapperom collected save number 3. With the win, MSL Buffalo is 4-3.
Robinson Barrios helped out the MSL Buffalo cause in the bottom of the fourth inning with a run-scoring ground out. For the game, the center fielder went 2-4 with 2 singles.
"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Barrios told the MSL Buffalo Citizen.
