The MSL Athletic Club KC U-18 got a magnificent effort from pitcher Paco Gonzáles, who kept MSL Buffalo hitters in check en route to a 3-1 U-18 win at MSL Buffalo Ballpark. Ernesto Bernal picked up the save, his 1st. MSL Athletic Club KC has a record of 2-4.
MSL Athletic Club KC used a clutch hit from Jorge Ramos to get the win. The shortstop drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the U-18 ahead, 3-1. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"Every loss stings," said MSL Buffalo manager Kevin Montgomery. "This one is no exception."
