Ron Pollard helped his team muscle past the Echo Park Lakers, 13-4. In the game, the Montana center fielder hit 2 home runs, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 3. Jon Phillips earned the save, his 3rd. Montana is second in the Silver League with a record of 36-17.

The Pandas got an important contribution from catcher Marcos Espinoza, who in the bottom of the sixth punched a 1-2 cutter into right for a grand slam home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Pandas ahead, 12-4.

"We did more than enough to get the win," said Espinoza.
