Otters Rally For 7-4 Win
|
The Tulsa Otters took Northwest Territory pitcher Yifu Kelly's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Beaver Town. The final score had Tulsa getting past the Beavers, 7-4. Kelly went 6 innings and allowed 2 runs, striking out 5. Marc Clemow earned the win to go to 4-0. He allowed 4 runs on 8 hits, with 3 walks and 3 strikeouts in 7.1 innings of work. Phil Chamings picked up the save, his 1st.
Tulsa took a 6-4 lead on John Thomas's 6th double of the season. The bases-clearing double, which Thomas hit in the top of the eighth, left Northwest Territory pitcher Ronald Bradley visibly frustrated.
"Some wins are easy and some are difficult, but either way we come to the ballpark ready to work hard every day," Thomas told the Tulsa Today.
Tulsa is now 27-27. Northwest Territory is 33-21.
