The Ellesmere Island Snowpeople withstood an impressive performance by Tijuana third baseman Matt Taylor to defeat the Toros, 14-7, at The Igloo. Taylor slugged 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. The Snowpeople have now won 5 straight.

Kent Miller, the Ellesmere Island second baseman, contributed a run-scoring single in the bottom of the fourth inning to make the score 5-4, Snowpeople. For the game, Miller went 2-3 with 2 singles and a walk. He scored 2 times.
