Flint got a strong outing from Delecha Letsego as the Crush defeated the Ellesmere Island Snowpeople, 5-2, at The Igloo. Flint is 24-17 and Ellesmere Island, with the loss, 19-22.

The Crush got an important contribution from left fielder Edgardo Barrera, who in the top of the fifth punched a 2-2 changeup into left for a run-scoring triple. It was his 1st triple of the season and put the Crush ahead, 2-0.

"This isn't football or hockey where you can overwhelm your opponents," Letsego told the Flint Today. "Everyone gets 27 outs and we happened to make the most of them."
