Abílio Cosgaia impressed in the 4-3 Ogallala win over Ladue. Cosgaia was 3 for 4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 3 runs. Vincente Pérez earned the save, his 1st, for the Octopi. Ogallala is first in the Menard's Low A with a record of 27-12.

Ogallala grabbed the momentum in the bottom of the fifth, when Cosgaia hit a solo home run. His 4th home run of the season put the Octopi out in front, 4-3.

"We were the better team today. Maybe that won't be the case next game, but we'll enjoy it for now," Cosgaia told the Ogallala Herald.
