Ellesmere Island starter Ánibal Correa pitched well against the Greenport Harbor Whales at The Igloo. The right-hander led his team to a win, 9-4. Aires Honig got the save, the 3rd for him this season. With the win, the Snowpeople improved to 17-21.

Ángel Montoya, who is tied for 9th in the 3A- in runs scored with 23, came through for Ellesmere Island with a grand slam home run in the bottom of the eighth. The left fielder went 2 for 5 for the game, including 1 home run and 1 double. He scored 1 run and collected 4 RBI.
