Ogallala Beats Northwest Territory, 4-1

Ogallala and Northwest Territory duked it out and the Octopi came out victorious.
Ogallala Octopi pitcher Alfonso Ramírez was in fine form, leading his team past the Northwest Territory Beavers, 4-1. The winning pitcher was Ramírez, now 4-1. He tossed 7 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 2 and fanning 6.
Ogallala used the timely hitting of Dave Pace to capture the win. The first baseman socked a 3-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Octopi ahead, 4-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a big one.
"We're all about heart and hustle on this team. That's what wins ballgames," Pace told the Ogallala Herald.
The victory gives the Octopi a record of 24-10.
